MagnaFlow Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust Installation - 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Today on our 2006 Chevy Trailblazer, well be installing the MagnaFlow Exhaust System Part Number MF16656. To begin our install, well first need to go ahead and remove the old or manufacturers exhaust system. To remove it, were going to go ahead and cut it into a couple of pieces. Using a reciprocating saw, well cut just in front of the rear muffler and then just behind the front muffler. Now with our exhaust system cut in 3 pieces well need to remove the 3 fasteners that secure the front flex pipe flange to the muffler exhaust pipe flange. Note I recommend to spray these with some liquid penetrant because over time theyll build up with rust, dust, dirt and debris, and can be very difficult to remove. more

Today on our 2003 Chevy Tahoe, we'll be installing the MagnaFlow stainless steel cat-back exhaust system, part number MF15666. Now before we install the new MagnaFlow exhaust system, we'll go ahead and take a listen to the manufacturer's or current exhaust system. Next we'll go ahead and begin our install by disconnecting the exhaust here at the flange behind the catalytic converter. To do that, we'll remove the two nuts off the studs. We'll then remove the two rubber isolators from our exhaust pipe and tail pipe. To remove the rubber isolators, use a pry bar, pliers, or exhaust hanger removal tool. more

I am going to spray them down with some lubricant first. And this is where the exhaust will begin. We will leave one nut on there to hold everything together until we are ready to completely take the exhaust down. Alright, now we will move on to the rubber hangers. And we will go ahead and apply some lubricant to them as well to help remove them. 1:00 more

MagnaFlow Exhaust Installation - 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Series

Today on this 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Series extended cab short bed we are going to be installing MagnaFlow exhaust system part number MF16568. We are underneath the vehicle and the first thing I have done is lowered the spare tire out of the way to give us some extra working room. We also want to disconnect the battery. What that is going to do is once we get the system installed we can reconnect it and it will actually reset the computer system so it does not bring up any trouble codes from the new system. The first step before we can install our exhaust system is to of course remove the factory installed exhaust. There are four exhaust hangers that we are going to need to remove the exhaust off of towards the more rear side of the exhaust system. 00:39 more
